In 2004, Jägermeister started the JägerMeisterschaft (JägerChampionship). The rules: one concert, three bands, every man for himself - and only 45 minutes of play time in which you have to entertain the audience. Only the audience decided who got to take home the JägerMeisterschale (JägerChampionsTrophy). An electronic applause-o-meter measured the cheering volume - and made a tough but fair decision on winning or losing.
Just like in the Champions League, the winners were honoured with an engraving on the JägerMeisterschale. The winners, whose names were engraved for eternity, included Mamasweed (2005), Deichkind (2006), Clawfinger (2007), Mediengruppe Telekommander (2008) and Friska Viljor (2009). The program The Rock:Liga ended in 2010.
Today, the Wolfenbüttler Festspiele (Wolfenbüttel Festivals) are providing a unique music and event experience for a first-class party. Jägermeister fulfils even the most extraordinary wishes of well known artists: Musicians from various genres coming together and rocking the stage - with often totally atypical and unique live performances. The result: Show dreams and true music spectacles.
